More recent reports seem to make cryptic allusions to the injury being a “career ending,” injury, especially for a running back.
If the doctors are incorporating a “plate” to brace the injury in the ankle region (as some reports have indicated), one must assume that his mobility will be even LESS then it was prior to injury.
I think we may have seen the last of Cedric Benson in a Bears jersey.
