Living and breathing in the Second City
We knew it was coming. I wish it would’ve been before he broke Aaron’s record. Of course, if he’s convicted he’ll be kicked out of baseball. But if he get’s off the hook somehow, the question is will an indictment be enough to get him kicked out of baseball. If not, Selig better start apologizing to Pete Rose.
The fog comes
on little cat feet.
It sits looking
over harbor and city
on silent haunches
and then moves on.

If the feds can point to a date, and prove that the date reflects Bonds 1st or beginning foray into steroids, EVERYTHING he accomplished from that date forward should be expunged from the baseball record books.

Yes, he’s as likable as Bonds, and says and does some stupid things that do not endear him to the public, but as a player, he was second to none.
