I think it’s a simple Cobb-Douglas production function we need:
q = A * (L^alpha) * (K^beta)= f(L,K)
The problem here is, Chicago obviously hasn’t heard of the Law of Diminishing Returns.
In the long run you don’t just add L (labor) but you have to add K (capital) as well.
My interpretation: (Glad you asked)
